The Story Behind Purest Water Filtration

Purest Water Filtration began when two friends were discussing the taste and smell of their drinking and showering water in their family homes. Both with 17 years’ experience in their respective fields – Ben a licensed Plumber and Rick an Account Manager in the Building Industry. They knew that with their combined knowledge, they could educate and provide clean water for other families.

During this initial chat they both had concerns over the Chlorine content in their drinking water. They decided to conduct a test using a pool testing kit. They were shocked to find Chlorine levels that were on par with that of a healthy swimming pool! From that moment, they knew something had to change — and that’s where the idea for Purest Water Filtration truly began.

Meet Ben

Founder of Purest Water Filtration and Licensed Plumber

Ben is a licensed plumber with over 20 years of experience, including 8 years specialising in whole-house water filtration and reverse osmosis systems. He has completed more than 2,200 installations, known for his careful and precise work. Ben holds Certificates III & IV in Plumbing, Drainage, and Gas Fitting, and has worked across Western Australia’s Pilbara mine sites, in England, and on maintenance projects throughout Australia.

As a proud father of three, Ben is passionate about helping you and your family enjoy cleaner, healthier water — the same water his own family drinks every day. Outside work, he loves surfing, camping, staying fit, and coaching junior rugby league and Oztag.
